| Wuou! guess what? right now I'm reading a book called " Dile Adios al Sufrimiento" (Say bye to suffering). This book came out in August 2006, its author is Raquel Levinstein. She has 23 years studying the quantum physics and the spirit. She is a pioneer on these topics. What she expresses in her book is that color have enery and they affect us. You can use these color for your personal benefits. She also explains that thoughts have a great energy, and if we combine them with colors this will bring us a great change in our lives. Levinstrein says that the changes may take about two weeks or so, but constancy it is what will make it happen. The benefit of constancy is that if you are sending a thought every day or every hour the thought becomes stronger, therefore, you will have earlier results. For instance, it is similar to when you are sick and have to take the medicine at acertain time to get better. If you do not take the medicine properly, you will not get better or it will take longer. Next time I will tell you how to do the exercises to start our process of personal benefits. It is also important to mention that the exercise can benefit others thorugh you. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! | Yesterday I was reading a book called, "Tratamiento Natural Para Eliminar la Celulitis," (Natural Treatment to Eliminate Cellulitis). Basically, it talks about how to lose weight. There is a subtopic, prepare mentaly to lose weight, that really captured my attention. It says that you have to visualize yourself the way you are right now. Then visualize yourself the way you want to be. Now, think about loosing weight as something possible in your life. It also explains that it is better to say " I want to eat vegetables and fruit," than saying, " I'm not going to eat candies and chips," that way the brain will capture the picture of the words. This is an enormus coincidence. Remember last blog, it is about the same topic, how to say phrases to make them effective. This book is written by Tina Robbins and edited in 2000. "The Secret" movie came out November 2006. This tells me that this exist, and it is not something that started five months ago, or that it is something that people made up. People knows about the law of attraction before the movie. The movie just help us understand messages hidden in books, movies, signs and simbols that we see everyday. | | |
| This movie talks about how people are the effects of their thoughts. This means that whatever you think and emphasize everyday it is what happens to them. For instance, if you repeat everyday to yourself that you are a successful person, and you visualize yourself being successful this will come true. It is important to notice that if there is something that bothers you, do not repeat it. For instance, if you feel sick do not repeat the word “sick”, change the phrase to “I feel good,” “I feel great.” If you keep mentioning the word, “sick” the energy of that word will continue in your life. People may not believe in this, but the true is that it does not matter if you believe or not, law of attraction exists and happens everyday. | | |
| Hello, I'm Carmen Garcia. I am from Brownsville, TX. I am a student at the University of Texas at Brownsville. My major is mass communication. In my career I been taugh how to be succesful, how to be a leader, how to achieve my goals, and how to interact with others. All these educations crated big question marks in my head. Do they really work?, what if I follow all the steps that are in the book and I fail?, it would be my fault? and what if I do not fit in the leader's model? I will always be a follower? All kinds of questions came out of my mind. This really bothered me, so I started to look for other options that would help me achieve all my goals; something that can be combined with all the infornation I learned and be succesful. After research, I found a documentary that really helped me clarify all the questions. This documentary is about the law of attraction and thoughts, and how this affect us without being aware. The movie its called "The Secret." After watching the movie I understood why last semester I achieved all my goals. This happened because I focused my thoughts in what I wanted, and I visualized myself everyday accomplishing them. Then, according to the documentary, the universe took charge accommodating everything to make it happen. What happens is that thoughts are so powerful that can affect the universe. This can be positive or negative, it depends on you. | | |
